Allisen Corpuz Returns to Erin Hills for First Time Since She Was 10 Years Old →
ERIN, Wis. — A lot has changed in 17 years for Allisen Corpuz.
She’s a bit taller than she once was and hits the golf ball a lot further. She played collegiate golf at USC, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in her time as a Trojan and establishing herself as one of the nation’s top amateur players.
She moved away from her native Hawaii and joined the LPGA Tour, winning for the first time at the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach and competing on two U.S. Solheim Cup Teams, one of which won last year at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. She even got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Daniel Eckstrom.
But one thing that hasn’t changed over the last nearly two decades is Corpuz’s quietly competitive nature, something that will be on full display once again at the U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills. And unlike many in this year’s 156-player field, the 27-year-old has a history with this venue, which is hosting the world’s best female athletes for the first time since it opened in 2006, but unfortunately, it isn’t one that she remembers much about.

Megan Khang Cards Career-Low 62 on Day Three at Bradenton Country Club →
“BRADENTON, Fla. — Megan Khang threatened fans with a 59 on Saturday at the Founders Cup presented by U.S. Virgin Islands but ultimately finished with a 9-under 62 on Moving Day at Bradenton Country Club, her new career-low round on the LPGA Tour.
Starting the day at 4-under total, the Massachusetts native raced out of the gate and made birdies on her first two holes to quickly move to 6-under, picking up another birdie on the fourth hole to get to 7-under. Khang then ripped off four straight birdies on holes six, seven, eight and nine to post a 29 on the front nine and climb to 11-under for the tournament.
Now sitting at 7-under for the round, Khang parred 10 and grabbed another birdie on the par-3 11th hole to move to 12-under total with just seven holes to go. She had a bit of a misstep on the par-3 15th hole, carding her only bogey of the day after failing to get up and down after missing the green with her tee shot, but she made a late recovery, finishing her round with back-to-back birdies on the par-5 17th and par-4 18th holes to post a 62 and vault from T18 to T3 with 18 holes left in Bradenton, Fla.”
