Lauren Coughlin wins Aramco Championship for third LPGA victory →

“Lauren Coughlin was having a rough go of it in 2026. She started the year with a tie for 27th but then finished near the bottom of the field with a T-62 in the Fortinet Founders Cup and a T-65 at the Ford Championship.

But after playing for a third week in a row, Coughlin came up triple 7s in Las Vegas, winning the 2026 Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek. The victory, her third on the LPGA, was good for $600,000, which accounts for neraly 97 percent of her earnings this season.”

“NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The chips were falling in Lauren Coughlin’s favor on day one of the Aramco Championship, which is being contested this week roughly 15 miles north of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Best Drive Isn't Solo: How Ford Is Helping LPGA Athletes Succeed Off the Green →

“If you look in the rearview mirror long enough, the details start to blur. But there are certain feelings from my rookie season on the LPGA Tour that remain as clear as day.

I remember the adrenaline, of course. The first tee jitters. The weight of expectations. But mostly, I remember the miles. The endless stretch of highway between the airport and the hotel. The quiet hum of a rental car dashboard when you’re driving alone to a course in a city you’ve never visited. Trying to figure out how to be a CEO, a brand ambassador, and a professional athlete all before you’ve turned 20.”

Filipino wild card Miguel Tabuena proud to represent the Philippines, South-east Asia on LIV stage →

“SINGAPORE – While most children fell asleep to shows like Barney And Friends or Sesame Street, Miguel Tabuena had a different nightly ritual growing up: Watching Tiger Woods’ 1997 Masters triumph on videotapes.

He eventually memorised the commentary after viewing the VHS playback repeatedly, an early sign of his love for golf.”

How the U.S. Women’s Open winner got her swagger back →

“It’s early December, six months removed from her breakthrough win at the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open, and Maja Stark is finally starting to feel her competitive fire again.

That might sound like a strange thing to say about a major champion and top 20 player in the world, but Stark’s recent form has been missing something. Despite her Open victory at Wisconsin’s Erin Hills in June, the months since have been somewhat of a struggle.”

Who Is Caley McGinty? →

“If you’re a golf-agnostic sports editor barracking for the story, Caley McGinty is probably not your girl tomorrow.

It’s not exactly a three-way race to win the Australian Women’s Classic, but the emerging Englishwoman has put herself into a final-round three-ball that has cut itself a little gap on the chasing pack.

She is a future promoter’s dream – a powerful, elegant, well-spoken tyro who is clearly capable of tearing a course apart.

From a golf purist’s point of view, that’s gold.”

“The doors of opportunity are beginning to swing open for Brooke Matthews, who made her tournament debut at the HSBC Women's World Championship on Thursday. Matthews made the most of the opportunity, carding an opening round of 69 to sit three strokes back of first-round leader Auston Kim.

"Conditions, pretty mild but just a really tough golf course," Matthews said about her opening round at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore. "So important to manage your emotions and manage your game. There's not a lot of pins out there that you can fire up. So just taking advantage of the opportunities.”“

Amy inspires Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar at TPC Scottsdale’s 16th hole →

“The PGA Tour has recently gotten into the habit of pairing up amateur golfers -- often teenagers -- with stars to play an entire hole together during a pro-am or a practice round before an event.

The pairing of Gary Woodland and Amy Bockerstette from Special Olympics Arizona (with a Matt Kuchar cameo) this week at the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open is probably the best one yet. Amy and Gary met up on the famous par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale, with Woodland inviting Amy to play the hole with him. After Amy meets Woodland, Kuchar and Kuchar's caddie John Wood, the group walks up to the pro-am tee.”

How Rhode Island golf course helped Megan Khang’s professional golf career →

“Before Megan Khang became a professional golfer with the LPGA and an FM ambassador for the FM Championship, she was just a Massachusetts kid playing at Button Hole — a par-3 golf course in Providence.

Khang’s father worked as an auto mechanic in Rhode Island not far from the golf course. On weekends, the Mass. native would play at the par-3 course and even drag some of her extended family along with her.”
