“Major champion Allisen Corpuz came up just short of earning a spot in the Sunday evening playoff at the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, carding a 7-under 65 in the final round at Whirlwind Golf Club to finish at 21-under, just one stroke behind the eventual champion Hyo Joo Kim and runner-up Lilia Vu.

But even though she didn’t get to contend for her second career LPGA Tour title in extra holes in Chandler, Ariz., the 27-year-old can still chalk up her week at the Ford Championship as a resounding success, as her solo third showing is her first top-five finish on Tour since she tied for fourth at the 2024 FM Championship.”
