Bio:
Mia Hammond has already made her mark at every level of the game. She first put herself on a national radar at the LPGA Tour’s 2023 Dana Open, where the then-15-year-old shot a 66 to win the Monday Qualifier before making the cut and finishing T26 against some of the best players in the world. Just one month later, she won the individual championship at the OHSAA Division 1 Girls State Championship with a state-record 136, seven shots ahead of a four-way tie for second.

In 2025, Mia made history by winning the inaugural Greater Toledo Classic on the Epson Tour as an amateur, becoming the youngest player to win an Epson Tour event. Now competing for Duke University, Mia made an immediate impact by winning the individual title at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in her collegiate debut — another testament to her ability to compete and win against elite competition.

With her refreshing humility, compassionate heart, and easygoing personality, it may be easy to overlook just how driven and competitive Mia is. Behind her disarming exterior is a highly accomplished player whose passion for the game began when she received her first set of clubs at just two years old. Today, she continues to pursue her dream of competing on the LPGA Tour, winning Major championships, and ultimately earning a place in the World Golf Hall of Fame.

As a Duke student-athlete, Mia is entering the next chapter of her development both academically and athletically. With an impressive track record already behind her, she is poised to become one of the most exciting young players in the game.
