In 2016, Brittany Lang reached the pinnacle of women’s golf by winning the biggest, most prestigious tournament in women’s golf – the US Women’s Open! That win signaled what many around the game already knew, that for Brittany, it’s not if she will win again, but when! Somewhat surprisingly, Brittany had become the first former Duke Blue Devil to win on the LPGA Tour, with her victory at the Manulife Financial LPGA Class in 2012 in a four-player playoff, where had to birdie four consecutive holes to win.
Brittany played for Duke University for 2 years and in that span won 6 collegiate events. She also played in the 2005 US Women’s Open as an amateur and finished an impressive T2. Brittany’s success on the golf course goes as far back as her days as a junior player. She won eight AJGA events and was a two-time First-Team Polo Golf Junior All-American. Lang represented the United States at the PING Junior Solheim Cup in 2002. In 2003, she won the North and South Women's Amateur and the Women's Western Amateur in consecutive weeks. She also won the 2004 Trans National Amateur title.
