Originally signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on April, 28 2005.  Chip has also spent time with the Washington Redskins this past offseason.  During the 2006 and 2007 seasons Chip was the starting safety for the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.
 
At Ohio, Chip finished his career with 238 tackles in 43 games.  In 2002 and 2003, Chip finished with 13 and 12 pass break-ups, respectively.

A true competitor, Chip also holds a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
