The All-PBC Pitcher of the Year in 1996, Jason was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1997.  After seven years with the Brewers, Jason was traded to the Montreal Expos in June of 2004. Jason made his major league debut on April 3, 2006 against the  Baltimore Orioles allowing one run in one inning of relief.  In all, Jason  has made five career appearances for the Devil Rays.   Jason pitched for the AAA playing  Charlotte Knights in 07 and 08.  2008 was a career year for Jason; he pitched an ERA of 1.22; he had a WHIP of 0.80; 17 saves; and he had just over 9 strikeouts per 9 innings pitched.
