Most athletes never have to worry about coming back from a serious injury, but for those who do it cements in them a firey will to compete and succeed.   Before Mark's injury in 2007, he was striking out nearly one batter an inning.  Mark was then drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 32nd Round of the 2008 MLB Draft.   In 2009 at Single A Western Michigan, Mark posted an 8 - 2 record with a 2.44 ERA.
