Mahoney, the 2009 MAAC Player of the Year, posted a .330 batting average in 57 games during his senior season and set single-season records with 67 runs scored, 22 home runs and 62 RBI. Kevin ranks 13th in the country with his 22 home runs, which set a MAAC single-season record, and also ranks 28th in slugging percentage (.746).   In his four-year career as the Golden Griffins’ starting third baseman, Mahoney set a number of program records — 216 games played, 202 runs scored, 254 hits, 52 doubles, 47 home runs, 187 runs batted in and 116 walks.    Kevin was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 23rd Round of the 2009 MLB Draft.
