Matt Stiffler finished off a stellar career at Ohio University in route to first-team All-MAC honors. The Bobcat CF finished first in the conference in hits (91), runs scored (75), total bases (172), second in home runs (18), triples (6) and slugging percentage (.669), and third in RBI (58). The 2007 ABCA Rawlings Gold Glove winner was also named to the 2008 ABCA/Rawlings All-Mideast Region Second-Team after leading the ‘Cats in runs, hits, triples, home runs and RBI this season.   After a successful senior campaign, Stiffler was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2008 MLB draft.
