The 2008 Big Ten leader in runs scored with 72 as well as triples scored with 9, Means finished third in the conference in stolen bases with 33. Means also hit .357 with two home runs, 11 doubles and 32 RBI while showing tremendous range as the Hoosiers starting center fielder.   The Avon Lake, Ohio native was the only player in the Big Ten to be named player of the week twice during the 2008 season. A multi-sport athlete, Means is a member of Hoosier football team. After completing his junior season this past spring, he was selected in the 11th round by the Cincinnati Reds.
