Before the media fell in love with the country character Boo Weekley, the original was playing and winning on the PGA Tour.  Born and raised in Smithfield, North Carolina, Neal Lancaster taught himself the game of golf and beat some of the world's best.

Neal did not take a lesson from a professional teacher until 1992, 7 years after he turned pro!  Two years later, Neal entered the winners circle for the first time on the PGA Tour and then spent much of the next 12 years on the PGA Tour fully exempt list.
