Gaby Lopez has been called “the best golfer from Mexico since Lorena Ochoa” which is high praise because Lorena Ochoa is considered the best Mexican and Latin American female golfer of all time and was ranked World #1 for 158 consecutive and total weeks!
Despite only being two years into her professional career, Gaby has shown strong and steady play with 14 top-25 finishes, including 2 top-10’s. She also represented her country in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and finished 31st.
Gaby has demonstrated her skill on the golf course before she turned pro when she played for the University of Arkansas. She won three collegiate events and was individual runner-up at the 2015 NCAA Division I Championship. She also played in the Walmart Arkansas Championship (2013-2015) and the Lorena Ochoa Invitational (2014-2015) while still an Amateur and won the Mexican Amateur Championship in 2013.
